The application fields of the roller mixer
The roller mixer (roller homogenizer) achieves uniform mixing of samples through gentle rolling, without intense shearing. It is suitable for samples that are prone to precipitation, stratification, high viscosity, and are sensitive to biological factors. Its applications cover fields such as medicine, research, environment, food, pharmaceuticals, and industry.
I. Medical/clinical testing (the most core)
• Blood samples: Whole blood, serum, plasma - anticoagulation and homogenization. Suitable for blood stations, laboratories, and blood collection vehicles.
• Fluid testing: Mix the samples such as urine, cerebrospinal fluid, pleural and peritoneal fluids thoroughly to avoid the influence of sediment on the results.
• Immunobiochemistry: Gentle mixing of reagents with samples, gradient dilution, preparation of bacterial suspensions
• Blood bank / Blood transfusion: Preservation and mixing of blood components (red blood cells, platelets)
II. Biological Research Studies
• Cell culture: The cell suspension, culture medium, and transfection reagents are gently mixed to prevent cell damage.
• Molecular Biology: Mixing of DNA/RNA samples, enzyme digestion/ligation systems, and PCR systems
• Microorganisms: Preparation of bacterial solution dilution, bacterial strain revival, and preparation of bacterial suspension before plate spreading
• Sample thawing: Thaw the samples slowly by rolling them at a low temperature to maintain their activity.
III. Environmental Monitoring
• Water quality: The surface water, sewage, and soil leachate are mixed together for use in the detection of COD, ammonia nitrogen, total phosphorus, etc.
• Solid waste / soil: Homogenization of soil samples and solid waste leachate to ensure representative testing results
• Atmosphere: Mix the filtrate from the filter membrane and the desorption liquid from the adsorption tube.
IV. Food/Agricultural Product Testing
• Sample pretreatment: Homogenize the meat, fruits and vegetables, and grains and oils, then mix the extract solutions for use in pesticide/animal residue/heavy metal detection.
• Microorganisms: Mix the food dilution solution and the total colony count/ pathogenic bacteria test samples thoroughly before conducting the tests.
• Quality Control: Prevent stratification in beverages, sauces, and dairy products to ensure uniformity
V. Pharmaceuticals / Cosmetics
• Research and Development: The drug suspensions, ointments, creams, and gels are gently mixed to prevent particle sedimentation.
• Pilot-scale / Production: Batch homogenization of ointment, oral liquid, and cosmetic emulsion
• Raw material mixing: The medicinal powder, excipients, and active ingredients are mixed in a liquid-solid form.
VI. Industry / New Energy / Chemicals
• New energy: Positive and negative electrode pastes for lithium batteries, mixed with battery powder, to ensure uniform dispersion
• Chemical Engineering: Ink, coatings, adhesives, resins, and adhesives for preventing sedimentation and curing
• Materials: Ceramic slurry, magnetic materials, catalyst solid-liquid dispersion
• Others: Anti-settling adhesive, cross-linking agent mixture, homogenization of paste materials
VII. Core Advantages (Applicable Scenarios)
• Gentle and non-shear: Protects cells, proteins, and active ingredients from being damaged
• Anti-caking / Stratification Prevention: Suitable for blood, slurry, high-viscosity, and samples prone to sedimentation.
• Multi-container compatibility: Compatible with 1.5 mL centrifuge tubes - 1 L vials, blood bags, roller bottles, etc.
• Can be reversed and controlled by time: Suitable for long-term mixing and use in low-temperature/cooling environments.
